23 ~ 27 January 2012 (Week 2)

Title of Activity:
Final Year Project Briefing II
Find the hardware and equipment for FYP progress.

Objective:
The briefing is focus on FYP progress.
Exposed the important of FYP planning.
Check and get the related tools for the FYP project.

Content/Procedure:
At Gemilang Hall, the students have been showed with the enough information for the FYP progress and FYP planning.
For the equipment and tools, it can be getting it in the hardware shop. With enough tools, the project progress will be started in this week.
There are also to try to look at the several hardware shop, for getting some raw material that supposed to be used in this project.

Result and Analysis:
            As a result, the students have been exposed to the project planning. The good planning will give a quality result in this project and it a very important.
The FYP progress should contains the steps below:
ü  Idea and project the title.
ü  Project preparation.
ü  Concept development and testing.
ü  Project development and testing.
ü  Final preparation.
With the steps given in the Briefing II, the students should able to complete their project from FYP 1 to the FYP 2, which is should be done in 2 semester.
For the project progress, at the end of this week the equipment and tools have been buy and all the raw materials related to this project also have classified.
There have some problems in designing the wind generator. The magnets that have been ordered will delivered between 2~3 weeks. So with the alternative plan, this problem can be overcome.

Conclusions:
            As a conclusions, the project briefing in this week have been exposed to the student, and with the info that are related to their project the student will be start to planning their project progress.
           And for the project progress, the problems in the ordered component will be overcome with some other planning. What the important thing in this project  are the student should plan the project progress and try to complete it before the due date and make sure that project progress completed during Engineering Day.
